Wayanad: The second largest wildlife sanctuary in Kerala, Wayanad is an off-beat wildlife location that is full of surprises! The sanctuary is a key tiger and elephant habitat and is also a hub for vulture conservation. Wayanad is a critical part of the Nilgiri Biosphere as well as South India’s elephant corridor. It is a favourite with birders as well, as several endemic avian species are found in this forest.
