We’ve been notified that some person/s are impersonating as our employees by showing our logo or name similar to us and accepts the bookings and advances with fraudulent intentions in their personal bank accounts.
Individual may approach you, by falsely representing themselves as our employees, affiliates agents or representatives. Under this false pretence, they might try to gain access to your personal information or to acquire money or other valuables from you by offering fictitious packages, hotel booking or ticketing or by claiming that they are contacting you on our behalf. Our valued customers are requested to take due care and verify the authenticity of such dealings before making any payments to their personal accounts.
The company understands its responsibility to safeguard our customer/s from any possible frauds.
The contacting individual or organisation may, for example, claim that we can book you holiday packages, hotel bookings, ticketing if you pay them a certain amount of money. Such fraudulent offers and claims are usually received via email, the internet, text message, WhatsApp, phone, etc. These claims and offers are fraudulent and invalid and you are strongly advised to exercise great caution when you receive such an offer. Be very mindful of such scams.
Below we list some of the features such an offer or claim may have:
· It may propose a phone or instant message.
· Money or fees may requested to process an action (Holiday package, Hotel Books, Travel Booking)
· You may be requested to disclose private, sensitive or confidential information
· You may be told that you were contacted in such a manner because it is a matter of urgency
Such an offer or claim will probably be in the form of an email sent from a fake email address or from a free email provider such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook, etc, and not from an official @orangedmc email address. Please take extra caution while examining such an email address, as the perpetrators may misspell an official @orangedmc email address and use a slightly modified version of an official @orangedmc email address.
Please do not deposit or pay any amount in Bank Account other than in the name of Orange Tours and Trips Private Limited / Orange DMC
Also, please ask for the copy of Employee Card mentioning the Employee ID of the and don’t make any payment without any quotation or under valid stamped and signed receipt issued by the company.
Please also verify the booking details at following contact details before making any payment.
We will never ask you for money in to be deposited in personal account of any Individual for Holiday Package, Hotel Booking and Travel Booking or other similar services. Any such offer or any other service in exchange for fees that claims to be from us is deceitful and part of a fraud.
Criminal and/or civil liabilities may arise from such actions and we intend to cooperate with competent law enforcement agencies and to ask them to take appropriate action whenever such phenomena occur. Accordingly, we would ask you to immediately get in touch with us via email at info@orangedmc.com upon receiving a suspicious offer or claim and additionally notify the police or other competent authority.
